Foundation Transition Sessions for Children Commencing School in 2023.

To ensure a smooth transition into the next stage of your child’s education, we are offering a series of transition session. These sessions will provide the children with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Junior School Room and many of the routines that will become an important part of their school life in 2023.

Whilst the children are attending these familiarisation sessions, parents are invited to take part in a series of information sessions. These are designed to inform parents about the school structure and organisation, our curriculum and learning programs and how you can best prepare your child for their first year at school.

The transition sessions are listed below:

July, August & September- Kindergarten visits between Glengarry Preschool and Toongabbie Primary School
Transition dates
October 28th 9:30 – 10:30
November 11th 9:30 – 10:30
November 25th 11:00 – 12:30 (recess included)
December 9th 11:30 – 12:30

Please note: If you are not able to attend these sessions due to work or child care committments, please contact us, so that we can make alternate arrangements to ensure that your child has access to transition sessions.

Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th December Transition week

During this week children are welcome to attend as many sessions as they wish from Tuesday to Thursday. The sessions will run from 9am until 1:30pm.
